SMRN condemns the Israeli genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the West Bank. We stand with the Palestinian people in Palestine and globally, and with all those calling for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the occupation, and an end to Israeli apartheid.

We feel grief and horror at the killings and kidnappings in Israel. We condemn antisemitism, which cannot be conflated with criticism of the Israeli state. However, grief and horror cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.
